Candle Care

• Burn within sight.

• Always extinguish the candle before leaving the room.

• Keep away from children and pets.

• Keep at least 4 inches between burning candles.

• Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each burn.

• If the flame flickers or smokes, trim the wick and check for debris in the wax pool.

• Keep wax pool free of debris like matches or wick trimmings.

• Burn only on a stable, heat-resistant surface.

• Keep away from flammable materials like curtains, paper, or furniture.

• Keep away from fans, air conditioners, open windows, or high-traffic areas.

• Burn in a well-ventilated room.​

• Never move a burning candle—handle only after the wax has fully solidified.

• Never use a candle in a cracked or chipped container.

• For the first burn, allow the wax to melt fully to the edges to prevent tunneling.

• Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.

• Stop burning when only 1/2 inch of wax remains at the bottom.

• Store candles in a cool, dry, dark place with the lid on to keep them dust-free.

• Avoid storing in humid areas.

• Keep away from direct sunlight.

• Pure beeswax may develop a white frost (bloom)—this is natural. Gently wipe with a soft cloth to restore shine.

• Once fully used, remove remaining wax and clean the container to repurpose or recycle it.

• Use a snuffer or cover the flame with a lid to extinguish safely (avoid blowing).
